I loved hearing from you every day. I am an Auburn fan but loved and respected you. I also have a loss from cancer. Say hello to all those in heaven ahead of me including my husband Ed and parents.
God Bless All
Shane was the guy I could call and chat with and always feel good after we talked. I called Shane the next afternoon after the April 27th Tornado, here in Tuscaloosa...still shaken by the events, and Shane told me how fortunate we both were...and WOW, when we finished talking, I felt so Blessed. Shane really had an ability to spread 'Good Cheer'..where ever he was. He and I shared many things over our 10 year friendship and I shall miss his phenomenal personality and his warm, comforting friendship!!!
May God Bless and help all Shane's family and loved ones. I loved ya man!
The University of Alabama has lost a Great, maybe the GRESTEST of all Crimson Tide devoted followers and fans. The Paul Finebaum Radio Network had lost a Corner Stone of his devoted callers. Shane (aka Shane from Centerpoint) always called Paul's Radio Show at 4:00-4:15 to confirm his love of The Tide and to set The Record Straight for the Auburn faithful. I remember saying to myself: "Man-O-Man wait 'till Shane calls in about this or that!" Shane, I never met you, I at least know what you look like now. Tell Bear Bryant and my Dad hello. My son Erwin Paul (after Paul Bear Bryant) Harper is a Freshman and plays in the Million Dollar Band. I will have him play "Yea Alabama" just for you! You are already missed. You were always loved. Roll Tide!

The Paul Finebam Rsdio Network has lost a corner
stone. I believe Shane (aka Shane from Centerpoint) always called in at 4:15 to confirm his love for The Tide! Shane, I never met you, but I
sat in my truck and cried upon knowledge of your passing. Tell Bear Bryant and my Dad hello. My son Erwin Paul (after Bear Bryant) Harper plays in the Million Dollar Band. I will tell him to play "Yea Alabama" just for you.
I knew Shane from the Finebaum Show. May his family be at peace and may his soul be with the Lord. My prayers are with his family. R.I.P. Shane RTR
I like so many others knew Shane only from the Finbaum show. Shane you will truley be missed. My prayers are with his family and radio family. K

No one cared more for the Crimson Tide than Shane. May he rest in peace.
I corresponded with Shane for a number of years from my home in Dade City, Florida. He was a great guy and knew as much about sports as anyone I knew. Our prayers are with his family during this very difficult time.
RIP Shane! Thanks for sharing your love of the Crimson Tide on the radio! You will be missed by your radio family as well as your loved ones. RTR!
GONNA REALLY MISS LISTENING TO YOU ON THE RADIO!
I was very sad to hear the news of Shane's passing...I learned about him, like many, through Paul's show. Although I have not been listening as long as some, I can tell that he was very much loved....May God grant peace & comfort to his family and all who knew and loved him.
-An LSU fan
RIP, Shane, will miss you. RTR!!
I didn't know you Shane, but I heard you on the radio for many years. You became a part of the memories of my life and that of my son. We both loved listening to the Paul FInebaum show and your calls were a definite part of our memories. I'm sorry you're gone and I'm very sorry for the loss and sorrow your family will suffer because of it. It's amazing how many people's lives you've touched and how many folks have been affected in one way or the other by your entertaining calls. Your family must be very proud that your life came to mean so much for so many people. That's rare... Roll Tide Shane! My son and I will miss you man...
Jesse Diaz - Dothan, AL
God bless Shane and his entire family. Roll Tide my friend.
Sherry, my deepest sympathies are with you and the entire family at this time. I was privileged to meet Shane a couple of times and talked to him on the phone more times than I can count while working with you & Lynn. He was such a nice guy! I will miss hearing his voice on the Finebaum show. From the moment I met you Sherry, I've always loved you and your family! My heart was heavy when I heard of Shane's passing. I feel like I've lost a family member as well! Please know my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you at this time!
I am so sorry for your loss; I hope you can find comfort with the love and support from your family, friends and others who were touched by Shane. My husband passed away suddenly in July so I understand the totality of your loss.
My thoughts & Prayers go out to the family, Shane will be missed, ROLL TIDE! (Bamadad,New Market,AL.)
I was not personally acquainted with Shane, but I knew him well through his always jovial voice and daily appearances on Paul Finebaum's radio show. I, and countless other Tide fans, always perked up when Finebaum would introduce the next caller at 4:00 p.m. with this simple identification ... "Shane from Center Point." Shane's voice and enthusiasm would then come through loud and clear and he would be loaded for bear on Auburn. What a stitch it was!
I was so sorry when I learned that Shane was seriously ill and deeply saddened when Finebaum announced last Friday that Shane had passed the previous night. Shane brought both good humor and serious commentary to the show and he will be sorely missed by those he entertained, as well as those he jabbed at and anatgonized. The show will go on, but it will never the same without Shane.
I woke up this morning to the news that confirmed my fear for our beloved Crimson Tide -- the national sports media was pushing hard for Oklahoma State to jump The Tide in the final BCS poll and I was afraid it might happen. Out of the blue, Shane came to mind. I imagined him in The Hereafter going to Coach Bryant and saying, "Hey, Coach, we need you to go talk to The Big Man about The Tide" When I heard the announcement tonight that we had finished second in the poll and will play LSU for the National Championship, I again thought of Shane -- maybe he did ask Coach Bryant to speak to The Big Man. Shane will always be with the rest of us in our undying pride, joy, and love for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a BAMA Man through and through.
I send my heartfelt condolences to the family on your loss. May God Bless and comfort each of you during this difficult time. The world was a better place because of Shane Corn and he was appreciated by many and will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace, Shane.
ROLL TIDE, ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry for your passing. I know the Angels are rejoicing to have you there with them. Gods word says mourn in birth as we are born into sin and rejoice in death, for we have been delivered up, out of sin into eternal life.
We will miss your daily calls Shane! The PFS will not be the same without you; may you rest in peace and hopefully you will run into Bear and the two of you together can bring us home another national championship!

I have been missing Shane's voice on the radio and did not know that he was sick until yesterday... His calls are going to be missed and he had more fans than he will ever know... I never met Shane but felt like I knew him and was definitely a "Shane Fan"... Shane, may you rest in peace and talk a lot of football with "The Bear"... Praying for you all to have strength and comfort during this most difficult time... Roll Tide Shane!!
Never met you, but, feel as if I knew you from your calls on Finenaum.. Peace to your soul and family... Roll Tide in Heaven
Shame, God has a place for you, you are one in a million. Sorry for Shane's lost to his faimly but he is in our prayers all over the USA. May you always have a 50 yard line seat to see your Crimson Tide Roll. Warm Regards Your Beloved Fans
My deepest condolences to Shanes family and friends. While I did not have the honor of meeting Shane, I feel like I know him from his appearances on finebaum. Loved his passion for the game and the Crimson Tide, but also his voice ...so southern and rich and full...and his laugh. Can't tell you how just hearing his voice made me happy! I've missed him this year ...he didn't call often...and now I weep once again as I realize I won't experience the happy treat of his call again. Roll tide roll Shane! Thank you for your work. Rest in peace.
