Mississippi played as well as could be expected. Alabama played as we have all year long. We played to win and we did. Slow start and some defensive mistakes but that was offset by close to perfect special team play and a second half of smash mouth football where we were doing all of the smashing.

Sly Croom has accomplished a lot with the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He has turned a program around that was an embarrassment to the SEC. Those of us who really believe this to be the best conference in the nation know that any group is only as good as its weakest member. We all benefit when the weaker

LSU played like a defending champion. We played almost like champions. We began playing in a way that could have generated the results I predicted in my last article but then we began making mistakes that a champion team cannot make. Those mistakes gave LSU back the momentum and strengthened their

What we did not dare think about seems to be within our grasp. We only have to win 6 more games. Only???

Well when we started the season nobody (well none of the "experts") thought we would be undefeated at this stage in our season. We where predicted to lose against Clemson and Georgia and not

Auburn is the game we expect to win every year even when we don't. It is the game we bring everything that we have worked on and learned all year. But the one game that we love to win is the one against Tennessee. For Tennessee we always seem to work extra hard to win and the enjoyment derived from

Hello mike,I THOUGHT WE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD SATURDAY. Now I'm not one to blame the officials , but they screwed us good Saturday. One thing i did see was a little bit of lack of discipline, maybe a little arrogance. Now we got to get back to a hungry, all out 60 full minutes of want too win football

"You can say what you want about our team but I bet you there weren't very many people in this room betting that they'd be 6-0 right now," Nick Saban told a gathering of reporters. "I'm not sure I would have bet it either, if you want to know the truth about it."

Looking at the schedule at
